Plantations are located in Santa Catarina, Parana, Rio Grande do Sul and Sao Paulo states, with processing industries in the four states. Even with local offer, most of aloe is imported, but Brazil also exports aloe to Germany.

For this reason the aloe gel must stabilized. Some industries have patents for this process and its technology goes from simple to complex processes. Usually is processed in cold with the minimum of additives for its stabilization, although some plants proceses it in hot.
